Mitch's Personal Projects

Welcome. This page houses all of my personal projects. I am a designer by trade, but I still love to work on applying my skills and interests to benefit the greater good.

I have been involved in a variety of personal passion pursuits ranging across a 25 year career online. I like to explore where technology can be employed to make community organizing easier, more natural, and more effective.

I have also carried out a number of public experiments with online community-building, developing model communities for how the Bahá'í Faith can better embrace the 21st century, and working on moderation tools targeted at deradicalization pathways for American Muslim youth.

I have done lots of funny and weird stuff, like being the first outlet to report on the price and details of the Nintendo Wii, to creating yearly free Valentine's Day cards, to helping small application projects go to market with professional, clean, and interesting brand kits.
